2019 – Time to Take Action!

“THINK GLOBAL, ACT LOCAL”

Our democracy works best when citizens are well informed and actively engaged in the political process. While state and national policy and politics may get all the attention, it is local level policy that impacts you and your family most directly, each and every day. Local level government – from crime prevention and emergency services, to maintaining roads and athletic fields, to managing our schools – can significantly impact your quality of life and the value of your home. Beyond voting in state and local elections, involvement in MDTC is a great way to have a say in how our town is governed while also contributing to your community.

Join Our Team

Your Madison Democratic Town Committee welcomes new faces and fresh ideas! Every two years we caucus to elect new members to the Madison Democratic Town Committee. The last caucus occurred in January 2018, but we often have openings for both regular members and associate members throughout the term. All are welcome to attend our monthly meetings at the Town Campus.

Take Action and volunteer! We are always in need of volunteers to work on campaigns to elect Democratic candidates at all levels of government; to support our Democratic policies and initiatives at the local level; and to serve on Town boards, commissions and committees.
