The Madison Board of Selectmen is taking applications for an Ad-Hoc Government Study Committee for the purpose of considering different forms of government permissible under state statute and making recommendations for possible changes to Madison’s government structure and/or charter. The new committee will consist of six members and these committee members may serve on any subsequent Charter Review Commission. If you are interested in serving on this temporary committee, please complete the Board & Commission application by Friday, December 27, 2019. The Board of Selectmen will review all applications received and will appoint membership to the Government Study Committee directly.
