This is a Community Input Session in the process of developing a Strategic Plan for the Town of Madison, a plan that would cover Town services, goals and directions for a ten-year period (2019-2029).
The purpose of a Strategic Plan is to give Town leaders a clear policy direction that will guide the preparation of budgets and work plans in the future. It also provides a mechanism for tracking progress toward the accomplishment of goals that are essential to the prosperity and continued growth of the Town.
The intent of the community input sessions is to allow an opportunity for residents to discuss their thoughts about the vision, mission, values, priorities and goals for Town services. The Board of Selectmen will review all input and present a final draft to the Town for approval.
